Day 016 ➜ Night 016 Starting Square: XIV.EE.14 Ending Square: XV.F.23 Duration: 16 hours General Search Results:
small cantelope
small tube of toothpaste
strange vegetable - easily mistaken for a yellow squash, but the rind is very thick and pitted
sleeping bag
cellphone case - clear, white backdrop, filled with glitter
large keychain ring
plastic smoothie straw
small suitcase - soft case with wheels
young sea bird - puffin
Given the amount of time he spends there, Daryl will eventually find some old tracks in the XIV.EE.14 -> XIV.FF.15 areas, moving further west. Weathering indicates that they haven't been retraced in at least a week, though.
Can you give me a specific set of squares where Daryl will be building these foot/deadfall traps? Would like to mark them on the map; if you'd rather leave it up to me, please let me know how many he'll be trying to build (it's a pretty simple design, although without his coveted shovel they will take some time to churn out with the wooden handle) and I'll mark some spots along his path.
The crab has fairly normal crabmeat in it - and a lot of it. The thing scuttles only a foot off the ground but each leg, stretched out fully, is almost six feet long. It takes quite a lot of bludgeoning to eventually murder it, but thankfully it does not fight back.
Daryl gets a few sparse bird chirps in response to his calls, but nothing weird, prolonged, or obviously imitated like his own bird noises. They sound like the genuine article. Trying to get a non-bird response yields no results.
Just like the previous night, the little specks of light return in the ocean, starting to appear slowly at dusk and coming out in force after sunset. They persist, blinking erratically under the water, all the way until dawn.
