The tusk looks like it was snapped off of something bigger, and how big that something was is difficult to determine. It could be the bulk of a walrus's tusk or it could be the leading edge of an elephant's.

The hoof is quad-toed and quite small, like it might have belonged to something the size of a cat. There are no tracks near where Rust found the hoof that match it or in general.
