The screen on Steph's transceiver flickers with a few quick lines of code as soon as the SD card clicks into place - readable, except for the fact that she suffers a sudden and intense migraine that makes her vision flash white for several seconds before slowly fading back in again. At first it might seem like nothing new has been added from the upgrade, up until she looks at her list of current conversations and callsigns list. Both conversations and callsigns have a selectable triple-dot menu next to them with several available options.
  • "Rename" - Allows the user to assign a six-character-long nickname to the conversation or callsign. This nickname does not have to follow the usual "AB123C" format in the case of callsigns.
  • "Save as..." - For conversations, takes the list of participants and saves them as a new callsign of the user's choice, which can be selected from the callsign list later. For callsigns, allows the selected callsign to either seed or be added to a new callsign group of the same type. The "AB123C" format, again, does not have to be followed.
  • "Change Display" - Only appears when the user's own callsign is selected from the callsign list, and brings up the same callsign edit menu, but Steph will quickly realize that this changes her callsign on the callsign list for everyone. Please make a note on the Callsigns page if you plan on utilizing this function. Once again, the chosen callsign does not have to follow the standard "AB123C" format.
