CALLSIGNS

Each character will be assigned a six-digit, semi-random, alphanumeric callsign, format AB123C, when they arrive at the island. Characters can find a list of these callsigns on their transceivers and can select them to send private or group messages. These are also the designations shown/read out when receiving messages from others. By default, the IC list will not include names, just the callsigns.

You may also notice callsigns on this list that aren't assigned to any characters. Who are these people? You'll have to figure that out yourselves. You can attempt to privately contact one or more of these callsigns below.

NEW PLAYERS

To be added to the callsign list, please fill out the form below (making sure to replace all **UPPERCASE WORDS**) and reply with it to this post.

Players have the choice to create their own callsign as long as it follows the "AB123C" format and isn't a duplicate of an existing callsign (past callsigns from dropped/swept characters are stored and will also be checked, even if they don't appear on this list). If you would rather have a random callsign given to your character, put "RANDOM" in the "**CALLSIGN OR RANDOM**" section.

CONTENT: He will send two messages, one a voice message that approximates the Morse code clicks and hums as Dirk described them. It won't be the best rendition of the language and will be a little halting, but it'll be passable enough to mostly understand him IF anyone receiving the message can understand that Morse code language.

They will also get a text post that reads:

Translated to English, both messages say the same thing: "Do you understand Morse code?"

Unfortunately Lalo does not get a response, because he can't contact this callsign in the first place. When he tries to search it in the callsigns list it comes up blank; a callsign must be selected when attempting to send a private message, so he's stuck at square one.

Alternatively, he could just send this message publicly without selecting any callsigns. Would he try that instead?

He also ditches Cat's walkie wherever he's at on Day 16 lol.

And unfortunately he won't be making any public network posts just yet! He'll keep that in mind as a possible option for later, though.
