Character Death
CHARACTER DEATH
Death is not permanent on the island for reasons that are not fully understood at this time. Characters that die simply disappear, leaving behind all of their possessions obtained after arrival, and some time later - usually the next morning - they will wash up on shore in the same state they were in when they first showed up.
...Or, mostly the same. Certain Plot Factors may make characters come back a little different. These changes could be physical, psychological, or possessions-based, and they could last only a few hours up to until the character's next death. Exactly why these changes occur will have to be figured out by the characters.

CANON: Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
IC DATE OF DEATH: Night 042
CAUSE OF DEATH: BOARPOCALYPSE
CURRENT POSSESSIONS:
Arrival items:
- the clothes he's wearing (full set of the Varia uniform, including coat and gloves)
- his artificial hand/prosthetic
- three pocket/sleeve/boot knives
- satellite cellphone (is/will soon be dead)
- wallet (with a fake ID, a couple credit cards and some paper/coin euros in it)
- dental floss
- chewing gum (mint flavored)
- some strangulation wire
Transceiver upgrades:
- Text editor: The transceiver upgrade slots into the SD-type hole at the top of his walkie and easily clicks into place. A new tab appears on the menu screen, marked "A/". Once selected, it opens to a blank, notepad-esque screen that allows for very basic text editing. Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, intents, and font size changes are all available. Up to 1000 characters can be typed in this window, and text in the window remains if Squalo navigates away from it. In addition, a small "A/" button now appears next to all text transcripts of visible messages; this button moves the text into the text editor, replacing any text currently stored in the tab. There's a similar button in the text editor menu that allows for its contents to be exported directly as a message.
Other items:
He wouldn't have had all of his stash on him at the time of death, but at the very least he had a bunch of the weapons:
- wooden spear(s)
- rusty dueling cane
- hatchet
At the base (Randvi's room?) would be the rest, I assume it stays there?:
- plastic smoothie straw
- a small piece of carved ivory - broken to the point where its intended shape can't be determined
- arrowhead - handcrafted from flint and still in very good condition
- small travel bottle - empty, unlabeled
- small section of twine
- makeshift leather glove
- belt buckle
- a strip of cloth, olive green
- a chunk of flint
- tube sock, white
- a comb
- small bottle of liquid medical disinfectant
- elastic hair tie
- gel pen, orange
- empty food can
- bar magnet
- scissors
- net
- tangled fishing line
- gel pen (barely working)
- sturdy vine
- alligator clips
- handsaw
- wood clamp
- section of chain
- cravat
- set of four hex wrenches
- pillowcase
- beach carry case - it is like a sturdy tote bag, with over-the-shoulder strap, a clasp top, and several spacious pockets on the inside. It's made of blue and white striped canvas.
- glass cup
- a small grapnel anchor
- a hotel keycard (light blue with a palm overlay, but with no name visible)
- swimtrunks: dark blue with white flowers, medium-sized
- a piece of long rope
- small box of floss
- sunglasses
- bolt cutters

All of Squalo's in-game-acquired possessions will be missing, except for the text editor upgrade (and the transceiver itself, of course). All of his arrival items, however, will be with him, in the same condition as they were in when he arrived. Anyone with one of these possessions will notice that they have mysteriously disappeared within an hour after Squalo died on Night 042 while they weren't paying attention to them. Squalo himself will awaken uninjured, but he'll realize quickly that he's developed a continual stammer fixated around a specific phrase, sound, or letter of your choice.

I'm thinking of making his life difficult and give him the impediment to say the word "fuck" lmao. If he tries to circumvent it by say, using "frick" or "fiddlesticks" would the stutter still trigger or not? (And yet it's somehow worse even without it...)

I'll leave that up to you!

Theoretically, if nobody else gets to them first, he may be able to find his own dropped items as well, correct?
And neat, I guess I'm going with that! (He's gonna be like, please kill me again lmao)
